Dr. Raja Barakat


Dr. Raja Barakat graduated with her medical degree in 1973 from Damascus University Medical School in Damascus, Syria. She then completed her internship at University Hospital in Damascus, Syria. Dr. Barakat went on to complete her residency in General Pediatrics at UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School.  Continuing her education Dr. Barakat went on to complete her Pediatric Ambulatory Care Fellow at UMDNJ – New Jersey Medical School.

Recently, Dr. Raja Barakat was elected as Chair, Department of Pediatrics at Bayshore Community Hospital.

Dr. Ewa Grochowalska


Dr. Ewa Grochowalska graduated from Medical Academy in Warsaw, Poland, where she completed pediatric residency and subsequently fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology. She practiced pediatrics in Poland until she moved to USA, where she successfully completed training in Pediatrics at St. Joseph’s Children Hospital in Paterson and obtained her Board Certification.

Dr.Grochowalska worked as an attending in Pediatric Emergency Department at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. As a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at UMDNJ, she was actively involved in training medical students and residents.

Dr. Grochowalska is also certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Live Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support. Over the years of practicing pediatrics she has gained vast experience in treating variety of pediatric diseases and is highly regarded for her medical knowledge, compassion and dedication.
